U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Kendall Steffen (right), 737th Training Squadron accounting technician, holds up the uniform donated to the Airmen Heritage Museum by retired Senior Master Sgt. Thomas Coons (center) during a visit July 30 at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. Coons joined the U.S. Air Force in 1965 and retired in 1989. He decided it was time to donate his uniform to the Airman Heritage Museum but not without putting it on one last time.
