Commentary: Altus Airmen visit historic Black Wall Street in Tulsa
Airmen from the 97th Air Mobility Wing and their families read about the years following the Tulsa Massacre at the Greenwood Rising Black Wall Street History Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Feb. 18, 2022. Within 10 years of the massacre, black Tulsans rebuilt much of the Greenwood District and, by 1941, there were over 240 black-owned businesses. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt. Cameron Silver)
