19th Air Force Command Team visits Luke AFB
U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Craig Wills, 19th Air Force commander, meets with Airmen assigned to the 56th Maintenance Group, during a heritage fighter aircraft tour, April 4, 2022, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Wills got an up-close look at one of Luke AFB’s F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, which has a paint scheme to match that of the World War II era 310th Fighter Squadron’s “Passionate Patsy” Republic P-47 Thunderbolt aircraft. The 19th AF command team visited Luke AFB to engage with the 56th FW members while gaining a better understanding of the successes and challenges faced by the wing.
