Commanders learn firefighting
Fire marshals pose after completing a vehicle extraction exercise at the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, on April 20, 2022. The instructors showed the class different ways to remove a person from a vehicle, including breaking the windows and even removing the roof. The Fire Marshal course was designed to provide insight on the numerous responsibilities and challenges within Department of Defense Fire and Emergency Services to future civil engineer commanders.
