FAIP heritage aircraft revealed
The newly added First Assignment Instructor Pilot (FAIP) heritage T-6A Texan II sits on the flightline for a static display on May 13, 2022, at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. The T-6 is a single-engine, two-seat primary trainer designed to train Undergraduate Pilot Training, or UPT, students in basic flying skills common to U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots.
