Campers from the San Antonio ACE Academy visited the 99th Flying Training Squadron where they got an in-depth look at what it takes to become an Air Force pilot. At the 99th FTS, they learned about the historic Tuskegee Airmen lineage and how they broke race barriers to become elite fighter pilots during World War II. They also got the chance to sit in the cockpit of a T-1 Jayhawk aircraft.
