Air Force continues anniversary celebration at NASCAR race

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr. shakes hands with Caitlyn Ruttner, 17, from Mishicot, Wisconsin July 3, 2022 at Road America, near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, inside an Air Force national recruiting asset called “The Hangar.” Ruttner was among 23 other future Airmen who participated in an Oath of Enlistment ceremony with Brown during the opening ceremony for the Kwik Trip 250 Cup Series Race. Brown participated in other race day activities including driver introductions, honors to the nation which featured a C-17 Globemaster III flyover, and he got an up close view of pit crew and racing team operations.
