Tech Sgt. Alexander Messinger, non-commissioned officer in charge of standardization evaluation for the 802d Security Forces Squadron at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, was selected as one of this year’s 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year. Messinger represented Air Education and Training Command in the NCO category. The award recognizes 12 outstanding enlisted personnel for exceptional job performance in their primary duty, superior leadership and followership, and those that represent the epitome of the whole airman concept.
