Vultee "Valiant” B-13
The first aircraft used to train pilots at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma, was the Vultee "Valiant.” There were two models flown -- the B-13 (in photo) with a Pratt & Whitney engine and the B-15 with a Wright engine. (U.S. Air Force photo)
