MacDill hosts AIM event with 85th FTS
T-6A Texan II aircraft assigned to the 85th Flying Training Squadron are shown on the flight line at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Oct. 15, 2022. The T-6A is used to train Joint Primary Pilot Training students in fundamental flying skills needed to become U.S. Air Force and Navy pilots. Instructor pilots assigned to the 85th FTS participated in an Aviation Inspiration Mentorship event at MacDill where they shared their experiences in the military with future aviators.
