One couple’s extraordinary journey to becoming Airmen

Airmen 1st Class Michael and Farwy Canody pose for a photo inside Airman’s Arena at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Oct. 19, 2022. The couple, both college graduates and in their thirties, decided to enlist in the Air Force after his career plans changed and she became a U.S. citizen. Farwy graduated from Basic Military Training Oct. 20, 2022, and Michael graduated one week later.
