One couple’s extraordinary journey to becoming Airmen

Airmen 1st Class Michael and Farwy Canody pose for a photo before their enlistment in the Air Force in the summer of 2022. The couple, both college graduates and in their thirties, decided to enlist after his career plans changed and she became a U.S. citizen. Farwy graduated from Basic Military Training Oct. 20, 2022, and Michael graduated one week later.
