97 MXS revitalizes CDDAR Program, emergency response
Members from the 97th Maintenance Squadron and Crashed Disabled Damaged Aircraft Recovery Program pose for a group photo in front of the new cribbing recently bought for improved recovery time of crashed or disabled aircraft at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Dec. 7, 2022. The previous cribbing was made of wood, making the equipment much heavier - 86 pounds per piece - compared to the plastic cribbing which is 22 pounds per piece.
