Current and former U.S. Air Force chief master sergeants and U.S. Army sergeants major gather to present an "End of the Trail" sculpture to Chief Master Sgt. Casy Boomershine, Joint Base San Antonio and 502nd Air Base Wing command chief, during her retirement ceremony on July 24, 2023, inside the Basic Military Training Pfingston Reception Center, JBSA-Lackland. The sculpture, which is said to symbolize courage and endurance, was passed around from all of the chiefs on stage finally ending up in Boomershine’s hands.
