Former first sergeant, Chief Master Sgt. Casy Boomershine, Joint Base San Antonio and 502nd Air Base Wing command chief, and current first sergeants give the ‘One Sharp Rock’ chant, during her retirement ceremony on July 24, 2023, inside the Basic Military Training Pfingston Reception Center, JBSA-Lackland. Boomershine was awarded First Sergeant of the Year in 2012 for the 81st Training Wing.
