Members assigned to the 312th Training Squadron participate in a combat challenge during the 11th Annual Blood, Sweat and Stairs event at the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, Sept. 9, 2023. Fire academy students went head-to-head with their instructors and peers to compete for the title of Combat Challenge Champions. The combat challenge consisted of challenges that simulated different challenges firefighters faced while responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
