U.S. Air Force Airmen pose for a group photo during Operation Titan Haymaker at Laughlin Air Force Base’s Auxiliary number one airfield Spofford, Texas, May 23, 2024. The purpose of Operation Titan Haymaker is to familiarize Airmen with the concepts and functions of agile combat employment (ACE) in a safe but challenging environment to prepare them for future strategic conflict and great power competition. One objective of Operation Titan Haymaker is to build the fundamentals of establishing a network of operating location options to be continuously reassessed for rapid site selection and relocation of units at the speed of ace pacing.
