Decree of honor signed between GAF 2nd FS and USAF 310th FS
U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Jason Rueschhoff (right), 56th Fighter Wing commander, looks to German Air Forces Maj. Gen. Peter Klement (left), GAF’s Flying Unit commander, following the signing of a decree of honor between the Airmen of the 310th Fighter Squadron and the 2nd Flying Squadron of the Tactical Air Wing 33, June 25, 2024, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The partnership between the GAF and Luke AFB began in 2000 when German fighter pilots assigned to the Cactus Star Fighter Squadron trained on F-104 Starfighters alongside USAF fighter pilots assigned to the 63rd Fighter Squadron. Continued traditions and acts such as this, strengthen relationships with the USAF and international partners. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Katelynn Jackson)
