Air Force Contracted Fire Department Lends Helping Hand to Gila Bend Emergencies

Members of the 56th Range Management Office Goldwater Range Fire Department pose for a group photo in front of their unit’s fire engine, Mar. 21, 2024, at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field, Arizona. The department has 32 employees, mostly military veterans, which include 25 full-time and seven part-time personnel. Their department comprises of six firefighters who are qualified paramedics, 25 firefighters who are certified emergency medical technicians, and one employee who is solely a paramedic.
