POW/MIA Remembrance

Members of the Sheppard Air Force Base Honor Guard salute during the POW/MIA Missing Man Table Ceremony during the Opening Ceremony for the POW/MIA Remembrance 24-hr Run/Walk/Ruck September 19, 2024, at Sheppard AFB, Texas. Airman and participants will keep the POW/MIA flag moving continuously over the next 24 hours in recognition of the 81,198 service members that remain missing in action and the 138,103 that were held as prisoners of war.
