Leadership becomes MTL-for-a-day

U.S. Air Force Col. Chris Robinson, 81st Training Wing commander, reviews military training leader dorm room inspection duties with Tech. Sgt. Jordan Taggart, 334th Training Squadron military training leader, at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Dec. 15, 2025. Leadership from the 81st TRW participated in the MTL-for-a-day program in order to become more familiar with the everyday tasks that a military training leader endures. An MTL is a first-line supervisor to non-prior service enlisted Airmen, which ensures Airmen continue to maintain military standards/discipline learned during Basic Military Training. They also monitor safety in formations, dormitories, and sports. (U.S. Air Force photo by Kemberly Groue)
