BRACER FORGE 2.0 takes shape

Commanders and senior enlisted leaders from the 81st Training Group participate in a training during BRACER FORGE 2.0 at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, Dec. 16, 2025. BRACER FORGE was initially tasked by Second Air Force Tasking Order 24-002. The scenario included being stationed at a forward-deployed operating location on a small island in which a hypersonic missile impact caused unknown damage. The mission was to transport a mission-critical early warning radar system to the airfield for airlift transportation before additional missiles impacted the location.
