  • AFIMSC expands eLearning platform to Total Force

    The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center Directorate of Personnel team relaunched the RedVector eLearning platform recently, making it accessible to more Airmen and Guardians to provide broader support for job-mandated training requirements, professional credentialing and licensing.
  • Arming local teachers, police against PSB

    It’s a topic no one wants to talk about, but that doesn’t make the discussion any less necessary. It’s PSB, or Problematic Sexual Behavior, and educators face it quite often in their jobs. Problematic sexual behavior in youth is defined as behavior that involves using sexual or private body parts in an inappropriate or harmful way to the individual or individuals impacted by the behavior.
  • Cyber career field discusses new training baseline

    The 81st Training Support Squadron hosted the Cyber Operations Specialty Training and Requirements Team conference here, July 19-23. “The conference was held to ensure the upcoming evolution from cyberspace support to cyberspace operations is a smooth transition, eliminate training deficiencies and maintain the health and welfare of the entire career field at the highest standard,” said Staff Sgt. Matthew Storer, 81st TRSS cyberspace support force development NCO in charge. “It impacts the entirety of the cyberspace support career field by creating baseline requirements for training.”
  • DAF to allow officers to opt out of promotion in certain circumstances

    Eligible officers, who meet certain conditions, may soon request exclusion from consideration for the next higher grade. The new policy will go into effect beginning with the major, lieutenant colonel and colonel Space Force promotion boards set to convene Oct. 16, and will provide more flexible talent management options.
