SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – An Ohio Air National Guard Airman showed his mastery of aerospace ground equipment when he graduated from the 361st Training Squadron’s course Feb. 4, 2020.
Airman 1st Class Casey M. Evans, from Shelby, Ohio, achieved perfect scores in the aerospace ground equipment apprentice course during the 17 blocks of instruction that spanned 87 training days. Evans and his classmates learned how to maintain and repair equipment that supplies electricity, hydraulics and air pressure to Air Force aircraft.

Why you joined the Air Force: I joined for the opportunities that could come from being in the military and to also better myself as a person. But more importantly, I joined to serve my country.

Hobbies: Sports (basketball and football), fishing and going on mission trips with my church.
Favorite aspect of job: Learning a lot of different equipment and acquiring a lot of mechanical skills.
