12th Flying Training Wing

The 12th Flying Training Wing, headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas, develops the next generation of Air Force aviators and enlisted aircrew by providing world-class flying training and education. The wing trains Airmen in the fundamentals of airmanship, instruction and leadership, preparing them for success in operational units across the Air Force. Through undergraduate Combat Systems Officer training, Pilot Instructor Training, Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals, Remotely Piloted Aircraft pilot indoctrination, enlisted aviator training, and other specialized programs, the 12th FTW produces skilled, adaptable, and combat-ready professionals capable of meeting the demands of today's complex operating environment while strengthening the future of American airpower.

Know Your Numbers, Know Your Risk. Complete Your HRA wellness profile today.

The Air Force Civilian Health Promotion Services program, or CHPS, is a mobile worksite wellness program providing free health and wellness services and resources to the federal civilian workforce here, and they have a great way for you to take charge of your health by completing the Health Risk Assessment Wellness Profile.

“Completing your HRA Wellness Profile is an important step in protecting your health and is the starting point on your journey toward well-being,” said Kim Harris, Eglin's CHPS coordinator.

What is an HRA Wellness Profile and why should I complete it?
The HRA Wellness Profile is a tool designed to give you a snapshot of your overall health. Knowing your baseline can assist you in improving your current health status, or let you know when it’s time for you to visit your healthcare provider to address specific risks that may be concerning. If available, have your recent blood work (cholesterol, glucose) and vitals (weight, blood pressure) to enter into the questionnaire for more accurate results.

How do I take the HRA Wellness Profile?
The HRA Wellness Profile only takes 10 to15 minutes to complete and can be taken annually on a computer by logging into your USAFwellness.com account. Or, download the app by searching for Motivation Alliance in the app store on your iOS/Apple or Android device. If you do not already have a USAFwellness.com account you will need to create one. Upon account creation the system will automatically prompt you to complete the HRA Wellness Profile.

Active duty are not required to take the HRA Wellness Profile, but have the option to once logged into their USAFwellness.com account.

How is my HRA Wellness Profile information protected?
Information collected in the HRA Wellness Profile is strictly anonymous and confidential. The web portal is secure and makes no use of your private data for any purposes.

What happens after I take my HRA Wellness Profile?
Upon completion of the Health Risk Assessment you will receive your Wellness Profile, which includes your relative lifestyle risk level (low, moderate, or high), recommendations for ways to improve your current health status, and/or information about when it’s time to consult with your doctor.

USAFwellness.com can assist in your journey to a healthier lifestyle by providing you with tools you need such as: information on various health topics, activity and nutrition tracking tools with the ability to sync your health information from your wearable (i.e. FitBit Garmin etc.), a recipe library, and much more.

 

Public Affairs Information

Tours of the 12th Flying Training Wing are provided to various community organizations, high schools, businesses, and academic military recruitment programs to educate their members about the 12th FTW mission.

Due to the high volume of requests and limited public affairs resources, tours and static displays are limited.

Please submit all requests in writing to the 12th FTW Public Affairs by email to 12ftw.pa.1@us.af.mil at least three weeks but no more than six weeks in advance. You may also call 210-652-1272.

Tours are not available on weekends and may be cancelled at any time because of increased security measures or mission requirements. The 12th FTW does not host tours of Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph at-large. To schedule a tour of JBSA-Randolph, please contact JBSA-Randolph Public Affairs at 502abw.pa.official@us.af.mil or dial 210-652-4410.

If desired, requestors must arrange all meals. PA will provide contact information to base eateries. Modified tours will be granted for those with limited mobility - this must be stated on the tour request. If not stated, it is assumed that mobility is not an issue.
