The 47th Flying Training Wing (FTW) command team visited Laughlin Medical Group (LMDG) Quality Services during Airman’s Time at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, Sept. 1, 2026.
The session gave U.S. Air Force Col. Eric Bissonette, 47th FTW commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Erik Garza, 47th FTW command chief, an opportunity to learn about the daily operations of Quality Services and how they impact Laughlin's pilot production mission.
Quality Services are responsible for providing LMDG safe, high quality and reliable care to Laughlin personnel and civilians. Quality Services also works closely with LMDG leadership and staff to identify opportunities for improvement, reduce risk, maintained required standards, and ensure our provider are properly credential and privileged to provide care.
Airman’s Time provides opportunities for professional development, mentorship and cross-functional learning across the wing.
