KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, N.M.-- Team Kirtland’s First Sergeant Council partnered with the 58 Special Operations Wing’s True North team, headed by Tech. Sgt. Wallace Pallicer to host a Random Snacks of Kindness event to help boost the spirits of the Airmen at Kirtland that work to keep the mission going.

“We put this event together to try and improve the health, morale, welfare and overall quality of life for our Airman on Kirtland AFB. This event is an opportunity to show our care and support for those Airman and our teammates who are tirelessly moving the mission forward,” 58th Special Operations Wing, Aircraft Maintenance Squadron First Sergeant, Master Sgt. Reuben Weeks said.

The First Sergeant’s Counsel spent their day delivering drinks and snacks to defenders at the gates and aircraft maintainers on the flight line.

“As an embedded member of True North for the 58th Special Operations Wing, it is part of my job to help people and boost morale and that is what today was all about,” 58th Special Operations Wing, True North NCOIC Religious Affairs, Tech. Sgt Wallace Pallicer said.

Through the partnerships with the First Sergeant Council, 58th True North team, the local community and Warm Heart funds, Weeks and Pallicer are hopeful these kinds of uplifting events will occur more often in an effort to help engage with our Airmen on a personal level and increase support for our Air Force community.
