DR. TIM RUDOLPH

Tim Rudolph, a Senior Level executive, is the Air Force Technical Advisor, Integrated Information Capability. He serves as the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Chief Technology Officer, stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. He is a Certified System Engineering Professional and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. As part of the AFLCMC Engineering Directorate, he focuses on transition of industry, lab, academia, and other partner information technologies into warfighter capabilities, for example leveraging secure commodity cloud technologies.

As the Air Force Command and Control Authorizing Official, formerly referred to as Designated Accreditation Authority, and the Rapid Cyber Acquisition AO, he authorizes warfighter systems to operate securely, understanding the important balance of threats, vulnerabilities, and mission imperatives to make informed risk decisions. Combining open technology and the ability to quickly assemble composable information services, he spearheads DoD-wide information assurance reciprocity and the use of software only assessments.  


Gaining system development experience in multiple technology companies, in March 1994 he co-founded Paradigm Technologies, Inc., an industry partner focused on the application of existing technologies in creative ways for multiple agencies and commercial enterprises.  He managed PTI with partners until divesting in 2007.  He is a recognized as pioneer in network-based services, open technology development, and portable operating system interfaces. With extensive expertise in modeling, simulation and analysis, he is credited as a principle developer of the DoD high-level architecture.
