BRIGADIER GENERAL LAWRENCE F. SHEEHAN

Brig. Gen. Lawrence F. Sheehan is the mobilization assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower, Reserve Affairs, Installations and Environment, Washington, D.C. He is responsible in establishing policy on all Air Force manpower and facilities issues. The department's responsibilities include force management and personnel; equal opportunity; Reserve affairs; Air Force review boards; installations; military construction; base closures and realignment; and environment, safety and occupational health Issues. 

General Sheehan entered the Air Force in 1964 with a direct commission in the Air National Guard. He has served as a navigator and has held senior engineering positions in the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard. 

In his civilian capacity, he has held positions in international engineering consulting and construction firms, state and federal government.
