GREGORY G. STANLEY

Gregory G. Stanley, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Deputy Director of Logistics, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. The directorate is responsible for organizing, training and equipping more than 180,000 people in the Air Force maintenance and logistics readiness career fields. He is also responsible for the development of maintenance and logistics readiness policy ensuring the readiness of the single largest element of manpower supporting Air Force combat forces worldwide. The directorate maintains the Air Force global engagement aerospace weapons system inventory, material and equipment management, fuels, vehicle management and operations, distribution, personal property, and passenger traffic management.

Mr. Stanley received bachelor's degrees in management and logistics in 1985, and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1987 from Georgia College and State University. He began his civilian career as an electronics worker at Robins AFB, Ga., in 1982 within the Avionics Division. Mr. Stanley has served in a variety of positions at many locations to include assignments at the Product Center, Air Logistics Center, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command and Headquarters U.S. Air Force levels. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Deputy Director, 402nd Maintenance Wing, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB. He was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in January 2010.
