Brigadier General PATRICK C. MALACKOWSKI

Brig. Gen. Patrick C. Malackowski is Military Deputy for Total Force-Continuum, Deputy Chief of Staff Strategic Plans and Programs, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He is the active-duty member of the tripartite leadership team leading the Total Force-Continuum efforts for the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Air Force. His leadership directly contributes to the One Air Force and Balance lines of effort that support a more unified regular Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve. These efforts include a high velocity analysis of all Air Force mission areas as well as a review of legislative, policy, operations and education total force initiatives that support an improved Air Force organization. 

General Malackowski was commissioned in 1986 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. His commands include a Fighter Squadron, an Air Expeditionary Group, an Operations Group, a Fighter Wing, and an Air Expeditionary Wing. His staff experience includes tours in 13th Air Force and the Pacific Air Forces. Prior to his current assignment, he was Commander, 455 Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. 

General Malackowski is a command pilot with more than 3,800 flying hours in the A-10A/C Thunderbolt II.
