Brig. Gen. David S. Miller is the Commander, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. As the commander, he serves a world-class workforce of more than 7,000 skilled personnel. The complex performs programmed depot-level maintenance, sustainment operations and modifications on all variants of the F-15, C-5, C-17, C-130 and special operations forces aircraft. Additionally, he is responsible for maintenance, repairs, and overhaul of diverse aircraft components, avionics and electronic warfare equipment, program test sets and automated test equipment across 177 buildings and operating locations. His team also coordinates and collaborates on mission-critical software and develops innovative solutions through microelectronics troubleshooting and repairs. Finally, the complex develops alternative manufacturing solutions with reverse engineering and 21st Century robotics.
Brig. Gen. Miller received his commission through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program at the University of Nebraska. He has previously held a variety of staff positions, to include working in a Numbered Air Force, Major Command, Headquarters Air Force, Combatant Command and Office of the Secretary of Defense. In addition, he commanded the 18th Munitions Squadron, 341st Maintenance Group, and the 377th Air Base Wing at Kirtland Air Force Base. He is a graduate of the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies and holds two additional master’s degrees from The George Washington University and Air War College. Prior to his current assignment, the general was the Director, Logistics and Engineering, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.
