DR. RUSSELL E. PARTCH

Dr. Russell E. Partch, an Air Force Senior Civilian Executive, is the Technical Adviser to the Director of the Space Security and Defense Program, Air Force Space Command, Reston, Virginia.  SSDP is a joint Air Force Space Command and National Reconnaissance Office organization that functions as the center of excellence on options and strategies enabling a more resilient National Security Space Enterprise.  Dr. Partch is responsible for the technical direction and oversight of all aspects of the organization’s products including space protection architecture, vulnerability, susceptibility, and mitigation assessments of NSS systems for the purpose of delivering recommendations into requirements, budgeting, acquisition, and operational processes.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Partch served as the Chief of Space, Command and Control, Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance technology within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Science, Technology, and Engineering, Washington, D.C.
