    Officials at Air Education Training Command named building 905 “Wilson Hall” and unveiled a plaque bearing the name and image of former U.S. Air Force Vice Chief of Staff retired Gen. Stephen Wilson during a building dedication ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph April 9.

Webb visited the 33rd FW to meet with the Airmen who make the mission happen, discuss community initiatives and support to local programs with civic leaders, and learn about the Nomads’ focused efforts on rated diversity improvement.

  • 97 AMXS establishes service-wide foundation for KC-46 maintenance

    Enlisted maintainers from the 514th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J, received on-the-job training alongside experienced KC-46 Pegasus maintainers of the 97th Air Mobility Wing. This was part of the 714th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 605th AMXS’s effort to prepare themselves to receive their initial KC-46 aircraft.
  • Civil Air Patrol cadets visit Alamo Wing

    Civil Air Patrol cadets from the 125th, 126th and 127th Training Squadrons in the Texas Wing visited the 433rd Airlift Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland July 8. The visit included a drill experience with military training instructors, briefings on C-5M Super Galaxy engine mechanics and a C-5M aircraft tour.

    Lt. Col. Amy Lewis assumed command of the 70th Flying Training Squadron, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, May 21 during a ceremony officiated by Col. Joel DeBoer, 306th Flying Training Group commander. The 70th FTS is a geographically separated unit that falls under the 340th Flying Training Group at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas.
