Dwell time, PT exemptions for new AF mothers increase to 1 year

The six-month deferment for female Airmen to accomplish their fitness assessments following childbirth will be increased to 12 months to align with recent changes to the deployment deferments, Air Force officials announced July 14.

Airman keeps San Antonio, Laughlin safe

Last year in San Antonio, Texas, and a couple of hours down the road from Laughlin Air Force Base, more than 16 hundred arrests were made. Of those arrests, more than 580 were gang-related and more than 200 firearms were taken off the streets. Master sergeant promotion results slated for July 16 release

The Air Force selected 5,301 technical sergeants out of 23,619 eligible for promotion to master sergeant, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced. The selection list will be posted July 16, at 8 a.m. CDT on the myPers enlisted promotion page. Individual score notices will be available in virtual Military Personnel Flight at that time, accessible via AFPC Secure.
