A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, takes off, May 7, 2024, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. The C-17 supported the 309th Fighter Squadron in conducting total force training at Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base, Oregon, with the 173rd Fighter Wing. The 309th FS marked this as their final off-station training event before they transition into a F-35 Lightning II squadron later this year. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Jakob Hambright)
