Air University streamlines CCAF and PME transcript requests Published Dec. 3, 2025 MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Air University Office of the Registrar logo Photo Details / Download Hi-Res Air University (AU) is improving the transcript request process following the integration of the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) into the Air University Student Information System. Following the intent of AF Doctrine Publication (AFPD) 1-1, Mission Command, Air University has consolidated all Registrar functions from both CCAF and Professional Military Education programs (ex. Air Command and Staff College) to centralize command, distribute control effectively, and match authorities and responsibilities across the AU enterprise. Air University Registrar’s office is focused on improving online resources and enhanced customer support. Air University handles about 10,000 transcript requests per month and is applying the latest automation tools to streamline the request process. Most requests are from Airmen and Veterans seeking diplomas or transcripts of completed courses towards a CCAF applied science associate’s degree. AU has significantly reduced the wait-time through continuous process improvement for Airmen and Veterans and continues to focus on speeding up delivery. To ensure accuracy, some transcript requests take 30 business days to process, though many are completed more quickly. "We are committed to providing a seamless and efficient process for accessing transcripts and resolving any other academic-related issues as quickly as possible. We are accelerating delivery times through continuous improvement" stated a spokesperson for Air University. The primary resource for all information regarding AU transcripts is the Air University Registrar webpage: https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Registrar/ . This page offers comprehensive information on academic requirements, contact details for various support channels, and measures for requesting and submitting transcripts. Transcript Ordering Through Parchment To further increase accessibility to transcripts. AU utilizes a leading digital credential service, Parchment, to fulfill transcript requests. Airmen can order their CCAF transcripts through Parchment at: https://www.parchment.com/u/registration/32882/institution Processing Times and Prioritization Due to the high volume of requests and the complexity of military education records, transcript processing may take 30 business days. Requests that exceed this timeframe often involve legacy records, incomplete data, or discrepancies that require additional review. Air University follows a structured records priority system when processing transcripts: Priority 1: Graduations and program completions Priority 2: DAF personnel whose promotion depends on degree completion Priority 3: Applicants for commissioning, instructor duty, or in-service medical programs Priority 4: Members with an approved retirement or separation date Priority 5: All others, processed in the order received The goal is for Airmen and Veterans to have easy access to their academic records and can successfully complete their educational goals.
