  • AETC on path to complete mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations

    Air Education and Training Command officials continue their aggressive approach to achieving full vaccination against COVID-19 to protect personnel and their families and continue recruiting, training and educating Airmen and Guardians.
  • Foundational Competencies: Digital Literacy

    The Air Force has identified 24 Air Force foundational competencies for all Airmen, as part of a systematic, competency-based approach to develop the force. These competencies are universally applicable to all Airmen and are categorized into four groups: Developing Self, Developing Others, Developing Ideas and Developing Organizations. One of those 24 foundational competencies is digital literacy, which was added this year.
  • DAF announces mandatory COVID vaccine implementation guidelines for Airmen, Guardians

    Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall has released a service implementation plan that requires Airmen and Guardians to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the following dates, unless seeking an exemption.

    One C-130J Super Hercules carrying Afghan evacuees arrived at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, from Philadelphia, in support of Operation Allies Welcome, August 31, 2021. Operation Allies Welcome is the U.S. Department of Homeland Security mission to facilitate the safe relocation of evacuated Afghans to the United States.
