All of these things can make finding training and career opportunities difficult due to the lack of relationships created through networking. The goal of the Joint Base San Antonio Workforce, Military Spouse, and Transition Alliance is to build and foster relationships between government, non-governmental agencies, Veteran and non-profit service organizations, and employers in order to locate these opportunities.

He will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for “conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty” August 22, 2018.
