  • 149th Fighter Wing takes part in Coronet Cactus

    Coronet Cactus is an annual training event that takes members of the 149th Fighter Wing, headquartered at JBSA-Lackland, to Arizona to participate in a simulated deployment that acts as a capstone project for the current iteration of F-16 student pilots.
  • Columbus AFB provides aerial support for joint, multi-national exercise

    Pilots and student pilots at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, have and will continue to take part in exercise Southern Strike from Feb. 3-13, traveling back and forth to Gulfport, Mississippi. The exercise is conducted to increase deployment readiness and included more than 40 units from the Air Force, Army, Navy and international partners.
  • 188th Airman named adjunct instructor at AF First Sergeant Academy

    Master Sgt. Robert M. Stephens, a first sergeant with the 188th Medical Group, is the first Airman to complete the adjunct faculty selection process and become fully-certified to instruct the new curriculum at the First Sergeant Academy.
