  • Air Force releases cardio and strength fitness assessment alternatives, new online capabilities

    The Air Force will provide Airmen five physical fitness assessment alternatives — three for the cardio portion and sit-up components and two for the push-up component of the physical fitness assessment beginning in early 2022.
  • Youth programs gear up for summer

    Youth centers across the Air Force and Space Force are reopening doors to youth and teens to help keep them active and engaged during the summer months. With COVID-19 restrictions easing, the Air Force Services Center has rolled out a suite of youth center programs. While offerings will vary by installation, on-site specialty camps may include archery, culinary skills, non-traditional sports, paintball, performing arts, science and soccer.

    Photographers of all ages and experience, get your cameras ready for the annual Air Force Photo Contest set to launch July 1. The theme for this year’s contest, which runs July 1 – 31, is “What a Wonderful World.”
  • Speaking Air-Forcefully: “I’m a Dot”

    Metaphors can make people into so many different things – objects (little pitchers), animals (night owl) and even agricultural products (apple of your eye). Today’s Air Forceful term is a metaphor in which an individual uses to erase themselves: “I’m a dot.”
