  • "Growth Mindset" on next AF Learning Professionals Q&A event July 12

    Understanding what the growth mindset is, and why it matters, is the topic of the next Air Force Learning Professionals question and answer event, scheduled virtually beginning at 1 p.m. central time July 12. The Zoom presentation will be facilitated by the Headquarters, Air Education and Training Command A3B team, featuring Mr. Trevor Ragan, who is the founder of the Ugly Train and the Learner Lab.
  • Altus Airmen inducted into 97 TRS ‘Order of the Eagle’

    Training mobility Airmen is the primary mission of the 97th Air Mobility Wing. It takes a concerted effort from every individual, organization and unit on base to support the roughly 2,000 students per year that train at Mobility’s Hometown. To recognize the efforts of those that have gone above and beyond in support of the student training mission, the 97th Training Squadron created the “Order of the Eagle.”
  • Human Performance Squadron reaches milestone

    The Special Warfare Human Performance Squadron, SWHPS, recently marked its second anniversary. The SWHPS is the first squadron of its kind in the Department of Defense, and its sole purpose is to provide Special Warfare Airmen and cadre embedded/holistic Human Performance, HP, support.
  • First Special Warfare Airmen graduate initial apprentice course for special reconnaissance

    The 352nd Special Warfare Training Squadron graduates the first wave of students from the new Special Reconnaissance Apprentice Course, June 17 at Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. Formerly branded as Special Operations Weather Teams (SOWTs), the SR career field recently underwent a major restructuring. While short term weather forecasting will remain in the SR’s skillset, it will no longer dominate SR’s training and mission focus.
