19th Air Force is responsible for the training of more than 30,000 U.S. and allied students annually in numerous specialties ranging from aircrews, remotely piloted aircraft crews, air battle managers, weapons directors, Air Force Academy Airmanship programs, and survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE) training. They execute operational-level command and control of all formal aircrew flying training missions within Air Education and Training Command and provide Airmen with a 5th generation, cross-domain warrior mindset to the Combat Air Forces, Mobility Air Forces, and Special Operations Air Forces to sustain the combat capability of the United States Air Force.

      Columbus Air Force Base provided projected Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT) students a new and innovative way to prepare as they await the start of the rigorous courses they will experience throughout their training through virtual reality.     • Warming Hearts: AAFB supports Valentines for Veterans

      When inclement weather arrived in Altus during Valentine’s Day, the traditionally warm and fuzzy holiday became a freezing cold and snowy one. Since this occurred, Altus’ annual Valentines for Vets program was delayed.

    • AAFB youth learn to build healthy relationship skills

      Members of the 97th Operational Medical Squadron Family Advocacy Program and the 97th AMW Violence Prevention Integrator developed a training initiative which helps military youth focus on relationship development. This team started the initiative by having teens and preteens from the youth center
