19th Air Force is responsible for the training of more than 30,000 U.S. and allied students annually in numerous specialties ranging from aircrews, remotely piloted aircraft crews, air battle managers, weapons directors, Air Force Academy Airmanship programs, and survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE) training. They execute operational-level command and control of all formal aircrew flying training missions within Air Education and Training Command and provide Airmen with a 5th generation, cross-domain warrior mindset to the Combat Air Forces, Mobility Air Forces, and Special Operations Air Forces to sustain the combat capability of the United States Air Force.

 



    • Holloman AFB raises HPCON to B as precaution

      In continuing a preventative response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Col. Joseph Campo, 49th Wing commander, has placed Holloman Air Force Base at Health Protection Condition Bravo effective March 19.

    • Columbus AFB weather flight ready for when severe weather strikes

      The 14th Operations Support Squadron’s Weather Flight is Columbus Air Force Base’s first line of defense against continuously changing weather and supports the mission by providing accurate forecasts, generating timely warnings and continuously looks out for severe weather threatening the base.

    • Vance AFB upgrades to HPCON B

      Col. Corey Simmons, 71st Flying Training Wing commander, has raised the Health Protection Condition from Alpha to Bravo at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
