19th Air Force is responsible for the training of more than 30,000 U.S. and allied students annually in numerous specialties ranging from aircrews, remotely piloted aircraft crews, air battle managers, weapons directors, Air Force Academy Airmanship programs, and survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE) training. They execute operational-level command and control of all formal aircrew flying training missions within Air Education and Training Command and provide Airmen with a 5th generation, cross-domain warrior mindset to the Combat Air Forces, Mobility Air Forces, and Special Operations Air Forces to sustain the combat capability of the United States Air Force.

 



    • Holloman pilot announced as Thunderbird "No. 4" for 2020

      Capt. Zane Taylor from the 8th Fighter Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., has been selected to join the United States Air Force Thunderbirds for the 2020 demonstration season as Thunderbird No. 4, the team’s slot pilot.

      Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, held a Female Fitment Event, June 4, where Air Force and Navy female aviators gathered to have their measurements taken, which will be used to design new prototypes for female flight equipment.
