Registration now open for virtual AETC Tech Tuesday April 6 Published March 31, 2021 Air Education and Training Command Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph, Texas - AETC leadership will host AETC Tech Tuesday, April 6 between 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. central time. The event is a coordinated effort between 19th and 2nd Air Force leadership and AETC analysis and innovation directorate, to bring together inventors from across the First Command to foster collaboration. “Collaboration has the power to spark innovation,” said Maj. Gen. Andrea Tullos, 2nd Air Force Commander. “This combined effort will ensure the unique knowledge found throughout our NAFs and Wings can be shared, expanded and sustained.” This Tech Tuesday will focus on database and information sharing. Presentations will include the following: Kunsan Integrated Logistics Application, KILA - A digitization of the fighter aircraft launch and recovery process (56 FW) Airfield Status - An interactive way to display airfield status from surrounding airfields to increase awareness for aircrew prior to stepping to the aircraft (50 FTS) Wing Airmen in Training Tracker, WAiTT - database tracking assignment process that allows Medical, FSS, and MTLs to update and input data helping Airmen from initial notification through final departure (82 TW) Smart Dashboard - Data management ecosystem linking fragmented training data into a vendor-agnostic platform (334 TRS) Courseware as a Code - Modernized ICIS (Interactive Courseware Implementation System) data input mechanism (333 TRS) “Through collaborative events like these, we can accelerate the sharing of new and better ideas,” said Maj. Gen. Craig Wills, 19th Air Force Commander. “Our goal is to use technology to make training better.
