97 AMW welcomes nine new commanders in 2022

From May through July of 2022, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, bid farewell to outgoing group and squadron commanders, and welcomed new commanders during numerous change of command ceremonies. These base-wide events honor the passing of command from one commander to the next, and are generally held every two years. This year, AAFB welcomed new commanders to the 97th Operations Support Squadron, 97th Healthcare Operations Squadron, 97th Medical Group, 97th Training Squadron, 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 97th Security Forces Squadron, 54th Air Refueling Squadron, 97th Contracting Squadron and the 97th Mission Support Group.
